- ➤ McFaddin-Ward House Museum will launch a lecture series on the restoration of St. Anthony Cathedral Basilica with lead docent Russell 'Rusty' Chimeno – who oversaw the repairs as CFO – explaining its history. The lecture takes place Jan. 15 at 6:30 p.m. at 1906 Calder Ave. FOX 4 Beaumont
- ➤ This Saturday, the Beaux Arts Ball will be held from 7 to 11 p.m. at the art studio (720 Franklin St.) featuring a ‘Galactic Odyssey’ theme that invites creative space costumes, a silent auction of local artworks, and a Grand Promenade for photo opportunities. KFDM
