- ➤ Traffic is heavy on Beaumont highways today with congestion on U.S. 69 near West Florida Street and West Cardinal Drive and slowdowns past South 4th Street. Drivers on I-10 westbound will face delays near the I-10/U.S. 90 interchange as traffic clears by North 11th Street and Toccoa Street. Beaumont Enterprise
- ➤ Robin Mouton (former mayor) will serve as grand marshal for the annual MLK Parade this Saturday at 10 a.m. at the LIT parking lot. Families arriving by 9 a.m. can pay $5 per vehicle, with entries donated to Southeast Texas Food Bank as local groups celebrate Dr. King's legacy. FOX 4 Beaumont

- ➤ Beaumont firefighters union raised concerns about daily carcinogen exposure after a rejected bond vote revealed that Fire Station 4 lacks an exhaust removal system.
