- ➤ Port Arthur city leaders plan to revive Mardi Gras by 2027, pending a council vote (Tuesday, Mar. 24). The Convention and Visitors Bureau will manage the event with new agreements to restore its traditional roots. 12 News Now
- ➤ The Beaumont Heritage Society will host an evening event to honor Hyman Perlstein's legacy on Saturday, Mar. 28 at the Art Museum of Southeast Texas. The celebration will highlight Beaumont's Jewish history and feature heartfelt remarks from community leaders. KFDM
