Beaumont Community Credit Union has been run by an all-women team for over 21 years and helps members manage their money.

The team works closely (like a family) and hopes to inspire more local women to start careers in finance.

The Beaumont Founders Lions Club announced the Willie Ray Smith Awards on March 23—naming Hamshire-Fannett quarterback Ty Bryson as Offensive Player of the Year and Woodville edge rusher Tayvion Hunter as Defensive Player of the Year at a banquet in Beaumont.

After finalists were announced in February, today Hamshire-Fannett's quarterback (Ty Bryson) and Woodville's defensive end (Tayvion Hunter) were awarded the 33rd Willie Ray Smith Award for outstanding football achievements in Southeast Texas.
