- ➤ On April 21st at 12:20 p.m., LUPD responded to a break-in at the Facilities Maintenance Shop on Lamar University campus after a young Black male in a tan Carhartt jacket with a red bag was seen running north toward Georgia Street—police confirmed a firearm was stolen from a truck and urged anyone with information to call immediately. 12 News Now
- ➤ Lamar University Police Department is searching for a suspect who stole a gun from a vehicle at about 12:20 p.m. Monday at the Facilities Maintenance Shop at 4940 MLK Parkway—he is described as a young black male about 5'6" wearing a tan Carhartt jacket and carrying a red bag who was last seen running north toward Georgia Street.
