- ➤ Girls’ Haven is preparing for its annual Benefit Golf Tournament organized by the Penland Foundation to raise funds for safe housing and educational resources for girls aged 6 to 18 who have experienced hardship. - ➤ Beaumont police investigated a reported stabbing at about 12:30 p.m. Monday in an apartment complex in the 2600 block of Sweetgum Lane near 11th Street, and EMS and fire responded as the victim was taken to CHRISTUS St. Elizabeth Hospital (the CSI unit gathered evidence). KFDM
- ➤ A man shot Monday night around 5:45 p.m. at Landmark Apartments on French Road died after being taken to CHRISTUS St. Elizabeth Hospital, and police released video of a person of interest seen walking nearby— investigators continue their work. KFDM
- ➤ Beaumont Police are investigating a shooting at Landmark Apartments on French Road where a man was shot around 5:30 p.m. on April 28 — the victim was taken by ambulance and first responders are on scene. 12 News Now
