- ➤ According to her employment agreement, acting superintendent Sandi Massey is paid $1,212.77 per day and will also receive a one-time $10,000 relocation payment until her permanent contract is finalized at the upcoming BISD Board of Managers meeting, with her role effective since April 29. - ➤ The Spindletop Rotary Club awarded two $1,000 scholarships to Beaumont high school seniors Annabelle Gazaway and Aldo Rodriguez, recognizing strong academics, leadership, and service.
