Achtwoo Pools, a veteran pool service company from Orange County, has opened a new branch in Beaumont to serve local customers & reload trucks for about 10 to 20 service calls daily.
Owner Larry Tyson said the new office at 1310 Interstate 10 Suite 102C will help his company handle local jobs more efficiently.

Bridge City's baseball team won Game 2 against Salado by a 14—7 score on Saturday as they rallied with 10 runs in the sixth inning to secure the series and advance to the state semifinals; they had previously won Game 1 6—2.
The Cardinals will now face Wimberley with dates and locations yet to be announced.
