- ➤ Beaumont Police are investigating a fatal crash on I-10 eastbound in the 800 block where the driver died and the passenger is in stable condition at Saint Elizabeth Hospital after a single-vehicle wreck followed a hit-and-run near Washington Blvd and Eleventh St at 8:30 a.m.—the crash was reported at 8:40 a.m. and the scene is now contained.
