Volunteers from the Silsbee sewing ministry are donating time and skill to help neighbors with clothing repairs and craft projects - they meet weekly at the local community center.
KBMT 12News has partnered with Moody Gardens to offer a five-week ticket giveaway for families, with the first drawing set for Friday, June 5 and a grand prize drawing featuring a hotel stay and round of golf scheduled for June 19 (entries close July 3 and prizes must be used by Aug. 30).

Recovery crews are working at Crystal Beach to free the stranded shrimp boat Buccaneer, which grounded May 15 while agencies coordinate recovery efforts.

AMSET and Symphony of SETX will host an immersive musical tour (Tales of the Neches) at the Art Museum of Southeast Texas this weekend.
The event, created by an Austin composer, invites locals to experience art and music in a fresh way.
The Art Museum of Southeast Texas will host Tales of the Neches: An Immersive Musical Experience by Nathan Felix this Saturday, May 30, from 1 to 3 p.m. The free event transforms the galleries with live music from the Symphony of Southeast Texas & Bill Pangburn’s Printed Traces exhibit until July 5.
