- ➤ Beaumont ISD's new superintendent Sandi Massey met with local community leaders and business owners today to present her plan to boost academic performance and address funding losses from low attendance. - ➤ Beaumont ISD is training students today in agriculture careers through hands-on classes that cover floral design, livestock care and leadership training. - ➤ After a 16-month course at the Beaumont campus, Lamar Institute of Technology’s (LIT) first accelerated nursing cohort received their pins today. Class president Angel Swallow Lewis will start at Elizabeth Hospital’s trauma masters department in June while 20 of the 30 participants secured roles, reflecting the program’s affordable, personalized approach.
