ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A truck fire closed Interstate 10 East near the Taylor Bayou Bridge in Jefferson County yesterday, May 28 as first responders shut down the roadway when the trailer portion of a tractor trailer caught fire at about 7:45 a.m.—no injuries were reported. KFDM
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ A Beaumont man named Korleone Squally Comeaux was indicted for aggravated kidnapping with bodily injury charges after he allegedly assaulted his ex-girlfriend on May 13 in Port Neches—police said she was choked until unconscious and later found on the back of his truck. 12 News Now

- ➤ Jeffrey Richardson is the new director of the McFaddin-Ward House Museum in Beaumont. He studied history at the University of Florida and Georgia State and worked at several museums—experience he will use to bring local heritage to more community members. Beaumont Enterprise
