- ➤ Houston-based Fertitta Entertainment announced a $17.6 billion all-cash deal to acquire Caesars Entertainment, a merger that may benefit Gulf Coast gaming and hospitality including the Golden Nugget in Lake Charles (a destination for Beaumont visitors) as it awaits shareholder and regulatory approval.
