- ➤ Two men were sentenced to long federal prison terms for a Beaumont robbery that killed store clerk Sheikh Abir Hossain on December 29 at Kris Food Mart on Gulf Street — Keandre Marquis Robinson received nearly 34 years and Larry Nathaniel Hagan got 35 years — after pleading guilty. - ➤ Today at the courthouse in downtown Beaumont, U.S. District Court Judge Marcia Crone sentenced Eulice Emerson 'Trey' Alvey, 50, to 57 months in federal prison for defrauding Neches Federal Credit Union of more than $2 million — he was ordered to repay $2,075,458.57 — as the FBI and Beaumont Police continue their investigation. - ➤ A fight broke out at the United States Penitentiary Beaumont on Monday evening at about 8:15 p.m.—three inmates were taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital, and a fourth was treated for minor injuries at the facility. 12 News Now
