ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ First responders are working a crash in north Beaumont on Concord at Ernestine near Smith Middle School at about 4:30 p.m.—the incident involved at least three vehicles and required firefighters to pry open a door to rescue a trapped person, with no life-threatening injuries reported. KFDM
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ After the Beaumont Renegades beat the Columbus Lions 56 to 45, a brawl erupted at Doggett Ford Park as players clashed with alleged threats from Columbus players—police and the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office responded to the fight. 12 News Now
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ At Tuesday’s State of the County event, Judge Branick reported that industrial expansion has brought $56 billion in new projects & county efforts include restoring 17 miles of coastline with over $200 million in grants and building a new mental health diversion center funded by federal and local contributions.
