More than 20 breweries and cideries will gather in Beaumont this weekend at Buckstin Brewing Co. for the inaugural Brew City Invitational.
Attendees will enjoy 30 sample pours, live music, meeting brewers, and local vendors with VIP admission starting at 3 p.m. and general admission at 4 p.m.
Dow has begun notifying roughly 4,500 workers about layoffs as part of an effort to simplify operations — a worker said 50 employees at an Orange site were notified today while other Southeast Texas details remain undisclosed.
Beaumont ISD is hosting weekly job fairs in June to recruit teachers, counselors, and support staff to fill 100 positions.
The events are scheduled on Wednesdays and Saturday (June 20) to provide immediate job opportunities.
