- ➤ Beaumont police are investigating a stabbing in the north end—reported at about 9:30 a.m. Friday at Pine Club Apartments in the 5000 block of Pine Street—and EMS along with Fire Rescue transported one man to Baptist Hospital. KFDM
- ➤ Emily Cheyanne Lyles, 22, was arrested after her 21-month-old boy was injured when he flew out of his misinstalled car seat at a busy Lumberton intersection on Tuesday at about 6 p.m.—she posted a $10,000 bond as officers continue investigating her failure to properly secure all three children in the vehicle.
