Joyce Catherine Badon, a 21-year-old Beaumont resident, died earlier this week from flooding in Kerr County and her funeral plans have been announced—family and friends will gather at Broussard’s on July 18 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., while a mass at 700 Jefferson St will be followed by a Wedding Feast at 15075 Country Club Drive on July 19.

Beaumont held a prayer service on Wednesday evening at Jefferson Theatre to support those affected by Kerr County flooding that killed over 100 people on July 9.

Church and government leaders along with community members gathered to mourn the loss of local students and offer comfort to grieving families.
