- ➤ On Thursday night, hundreds of Kelly High School alumni gathered in the school cafeteria to pray a rosary for flood victims, including graduates Aidan Heartfield, Ella Cahill, and Joyce Badon. Aidan’s remains are still being sought by his father and volunteers—while other victims, Reese Manchaca and Mary Grace Baker, have been recovered—to honor the close-knit community connection. KFDM
- ➤ Young volunteers from Bounce helped rebuild homes damaged by natural disasters in Beaumont, Nederland, and Port Arthur this week in partnership with local groups. - ➤ On Thursday morning, a motorcycle hit the rear of a side by side utility vehicle near the Highway 73 westbound on ramp in Groves—both drivers were taken to a Southeast Texas hospital and a helicopter was called but not used because of weather. 12 News Now

- ➤ Beaumont police obtained a warrant for Bradley Broussard, 38, who is wanted for an aggravated robbery that occurred before 11 a.m. on July 5 at 409 Tobacc, 1880 Washington Blvd (Suite D) after video footage showed him entering a shop, brandishing a semi-automatic pistol, and fleeing east on Washington Blvd. Beaumont Enterprise
