31 (her nine-month pay is $245,195.27). Sandi Massey was hired as the new superintendent to lead the district.

After a 19-month-old girl was found in critical condition in a backyard pool near Nederland Thursday, certified swim instructor Megan Pounders of Infant Swim Beaumont advised that layers of water safety — including touch supervision, fencing, alarms, and CPR training — are essential to help prevent tragedies.
