- ➤ Hardwired Strength, a new Olympic weightlifting gym, opened this summer in Beaumont—founded by Victor Hernandez to build a community space for fitness and creativity. - ➤ The parents of Mary Grace Baker have established a memorial fund to honor their eight-year-old daughter who died on July 4 when flooding swept through Camp Mystic. The fund will carry on her legacy — a tribute to the cherished life she lived. KFDM
- ➤ Family, friends and community members gathered today at St. Anne Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to bid farewell to Ella Cahill—who died on July 4 when floodwaters swept through the Hunt home where she stayed with her longtime boyfriend Aidan Heartfield and friends Joyce Baden and Reese Manchaca.
