- ➤ A multi-vehicle crash involving two 18-wheelers spilled fuel and oil and closed the westbound lanes of Interstate 10 near ML King Parkway, as Beaumont police, Fire/EMS and an industrial cleaning crew work the scene while officials expect the closure to last for an extended period—drivers are urged to use alternate routes—updates will follow. 12 News Now

- ➤ DuGood Federal Credit Union will open a new branch on the Lamar Institute of Technology campus this fall to offer financial education and support to students.
