CenterWell and Groves celebrated the new pickleball courts for seniors at John Spikes Park, offering local older adults a dedicated safe space to play and stay active.
🎓 Education
Beaumont ISD returned to its long-standing practice with an Acadian Ambulance unit at Doggett Family Stadium less than 24 hours after planning to rely only on 911, keeping athletic trainers and a volunteer physician at the game for added safety (community trust remains high).
Beaumont ISD reversed its removal of on-site EMS and will continue to have a dedicated ambulance at every home varsity football game, working with City of Beaumont Fire — EMS to provide immediate emergency care.
The change comes after community concerns over athlete safety.
