TWIA’s Legislative and External Affairs Committee will meet at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday to consider a proposal that could remove coverage for over 22,600 secondary homes—mostly beach cabins on Bolivar Peninsula—by limiting policies to owner-occupied residences.
A change would force affected homeowners to seek wind coverage from private insurers.
