Entergy Texas restored power to over 70% of 80,000 impacted customers after Tropical Storm Edouard on Thursday; 2,000 workers used specialized equipment to work through flooded roads (and debris) in Beaumont and nearby areas as repairs continued to address remaining outages.
After Tropical Storm Edouard knocked out power to over 80,000 customers, Entergy restored electricity to more than 70,000 people across multiple counties by 8:15 p.m. yesterday — fewer than 10,000 outages remain as the company will safely restore power to all reachable customers by 10 p.m. today.
