CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Beaumont police are investigating a possible hit-and-run that killed 27-year-old Vinnie Sang Nguyen near Amoco Road on U.S. 69 this past weekend—reports say calls were received around 9:05 a.m. Beaumont Enterprise
- ➤ An 18-year-old Beaumont man, Jonah Ray Johnson, was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after a gunfight at the Pine Club apartments on August 31, during which a bystander sustained a serious leg injury. 12 News Now
- ➤ Calvin Lee Randall, 45, was sentenced to 15 years in prison after Judge Raquel West revoked his probation—he struck a woman's head against a toilet seat in March 2021. KFDM

- ➤ The Beaumont Heritage Society and Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church will host a special extension event for the Agatha Babino exhibit on Saturday, September 13 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.—the program honors Agatha Babino, who once lived on the Blessed Sacrament property, and offers the community a chance to connect with its past.
