- ➤ Innovative Air Solutions donated two A/C units as part of the Feel the Love program + one unit is now cooling Kibbe House at Spindletop Center in Port Arthur to support residents with mental health and substance use challenges while the other will be installed for Heather McCormick of Orange on Thursday. 12 News Now

- ➤ A pilot test for the fee-waiving Chick-fil-A hotspot delivery program will launch at the College St. location—serving CHRISTUS St. Elizabeth Outpatient Pavilion and nearby workplaces—and will offer free delivery during high-demand periods for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The program is one of four sites chosen nationwide and will use a dynamic pricing model to manage order volumes. Beaumont Enterprise

- ➤ Linde heavy hauls will close U.S. 69 northbound frontage roads from Farm Road 3514 to the U.S. 69/Texas 347 connector from 9 p.m. until 4 a.m. from Monday to Saturday. TxDOT said heavy hauls on Texas 347 between 8 and 10 p.m. will last about 30 minutes, and drivers should use an alternate route. Beaumont Enterprise

- ➤ Adult Protective Services has warned seniors and disabled residents to watch for financial scams during Financial Exploitation Awareness Month. The agency will hold its annual workshop on October 22nd from 9 a.m. to noon at the Lakeside Center—where officials will explain common scams. KFDM
