Melissa Jackson and Hattie Harmason are challenging blindness stereotypes in Southeast Texas by sharing their stories & organizing White Cane Walks during Blindness Awareness Month.

Two walks are set for Saturday—one at 10 a.m. inside Parkdale Mall in Beaumont and another at 3 p.m. on Procter Street in Port Arthur.
