- ➤ Jefferson County will hold its 23rd annual Tree of Angels ceremony on Monday, Dec. 8 at 6 p.m. at the Jefferson County Courthouse rotunda (1149 Pearl Street). The event offers families impacted by violent crime a supportive space to remember loved ones with angel ornaments. 12 News Now

- ➤ Port Arthur Memorial High School students gained real-world legal skills by participating in the Real Law, Real Life mock trial program at the Jefferson County Sub-Courthouse.
