EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ The Texas Education Agency has opened applications for Beaumont residents to serve on a temporary board of managers for BISD after a state takeover triggered by academic challenges. Applicants must be eligible voters & apply by Jan. 31, with the board set to take over in spring 2026. KFDM
- ➤ Beaumont ISD's Career & Technology Director Donna Prudhomme was named ACTE's National Administrator of the Year in Nashville. The award honors her work expanding career and technical programs and boosting student certifications. Beaumont Enterprise
