Salem United Methodist Church in Orange celebrated its 161st anniversary last Sunday during its Black History Month event, marking over a century of faith and community service since its founding in 1865.

TxDOT said construction on I-10 from Orange County to Jefferson County aims to improve safety and flow.

The biggest project adds two lanes at the I-10/U.S. 69 interchange (set to finish late 2030) and a Port Arthur project will finish in 2027.
