A police officer and a driver were injured when a white Dodge Ram struck a patrol car blocking traffic on IH-10 south near the 3700 block, pushing the police vehicle into another car—both were transported to a nearby hospital with minor injuries and the driver was cited.

Beaumont Police investigated a fatal crash in the 800 block of IH 10 eastbound after receiving a call at 8:40 a.m. about a single-vehicle car fire— the driver died and the passenger is in stable condition at Saint Elizabeth Hospital.
