- ➤ The Beaumont Police Department hosted a Coffee with a Cop event at a local McDonald's on Euclid St. on Saturday morning, where community members enjoyed free coffee and conversation plus took photos with guest characters Grimace, Birdie, and the Hamburglar. KFDM
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Beaumont police responded around 2:40 a.m. on Sunday when a person was assaulted at a business on Concord Road and sustained serious injuries before being transferred to a Houston hospital—authorities are investigating the incident. KFDM
- ➤ On July 14, a 2-year-old boy was hit by a driver who fled the scene, leaving him with a broken arm and fractured rib as his mother starts a GoFundMe page for his care and Beaumont police search for the suspect vehicle—said to be a black Chevrolet Tahoe—while he is treated in a Houston hospital. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Beaumont city leaders are finalizing $179M bond proposals to fund four park projects, two facility projects, three infrastructure projects & two downtown projects that could add about a $10 monthly tax increase on the average home.
