Spindletop Center in Beaumont has received donated generators from the Dishman Foundation and YMBL to power four group homes—ensuring essential equipment like electric hospital beds and oxygen machines run during outages and easing concerns for staff and families.

The City of Beaumont will host its 10th annual Oktoberfest on Saturday, October 4th at Rogers Park from 3:00pm to 8:00pm—admission is free and families can enjoy live music, polka performances, food trucks, a beer garden, and kid-friendly activities.
