Beaumont ISD approved school improvement plans to boost academic performance at low-performing campuses with a focus on improving reading and math scores for second through fifth grades.
The plans include a needs assessment and set student outcome goals to raise STAAR scores by the 2025-2026 school year — the district also will work on enhancing curriculum and teacher capacity while addressing summer school attendance.
