- ➤ The India Association of Southeast Texas will host its annual India Fest on November 15 at the Beaumont Civic Center where a social hour begins at 5:30 p.m. and the main program starts at 6:30 p.m.—running until 10 p.m. The festival will feature traditional dance, live music and a cultural bazaar, while childcare is provided at the nearby Children's Museum—tickets cost $40. 12 News Now

- ➤ Beaumont announced that a road on Lamar University campus has been closed for water line work starting Wednesday — the closure on Jim Gilligan Way between Cheek Street and Rolfe Christopher Drive will block emergency vehicles until Nov 5. - ➤ H-E-B has recalled its holiday glow stick bracelets because the green unit in the 12-pack can leak and may cause skin irritation.
