About this event
The City of Beaumont will usher in the holiday season with the 9th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting and Drone Show on Wednesday, December 2, beginning at 5 p.m. at the Downtown Event Centre Lake. A highlight of the evening will be a spectacular drone show, illuminating the night sky with a dazzling display that complements the glow of downtown Beaumont’s iconic Christmas tree. The annual celebration will also feature live entertainment from Lake Charles-based group, The HYPE Band, known for its high-energy performances, while DJ BShaw keeps the festivities going with holiday favorites throughout the evening.
Families can enjoy a variety of activities, including food trucks, snow, family-friendly activities and an outdoor screening of Disney’s Sing Along Songs – Very Merry Christmas . Guests can meet favorite holiday characters and capture special holiday memories with festive photo opportunities sponsored by ExxonMobil.
Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs to relax and enjoy the outdoor movie experience. Admission is free and open to the public, with festivities concluding at 7:30 p.m.
Free parking will be available throughout downtown Beaumont. Accessible parking will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis at the Lakeside Center and in surrounding parking lots near the Downtown Event Centre.
